Josephine Langbehn is a Nebraska artist engaged in multiple disciplines. She is a visual artist, arts educator, and swing dance enthusiast. Josephine’s paintings have been exhibited in regional exhibitions across the state of Nebraska and in the Midwest including; Salina Biennial, , Nebraska Artist Biennial, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art Auction, and National Art Education Association Juried Exhibition. She holds a BA in Art Education and an MA in Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 2015 she was selected as the Nebraska Outstanding Art Educator of the Year by the Nebraska Art Teachers Association. For the past 14 years Josephine has taught in public schools but has now taken the leap with both feet in, and is chasing her dreams. She is a full-time artist and educator. Giving her more time in her beautiful studio at Hot Shops Art Center creating artwork.  Josephine currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska where she now teaches both private, group lessons and workshops in both the visual arts and swing dance to all ages while also exhibiting her artwork.
